Stanley Chase PhD

Professor/Community Educator, Toronto Metropolitan University

Stan Chase is a Professor in the Department of Community Services at Toronto Metropolitan University and co-founder of the program “Leave Out Violence” (LOVE), Canada's leading youth violence prevention organization. He has extensive experience in community and educational initiatives in both Montreal and Toronto.

Valerie Gordon

Teacher, Community Leader & Research Associate, Douglas Research Centre

Valerie Gordon is a project consultant and educator born and raised in Grenada. She went on to achieve the University of the West Indies School of Education Trained Teachers Certificate at the Grenada Teachers College. She has worked in both Canada and the Caribbean, such as through her project consultancy business which has completed work for a number of distinguished organizations including the International Labour Organization, Christian Aid, and the World Bank.

Rob Whitley

Associate Professor, Faculty of Medicine, McGill University

Rob Whitley is an Associate Professor at McGill University and the author of “Men’s Issues and Men’s Mental Health” (Springer 2021). He has conducted research projects in New York City, Washington DC, Jamaica, Ethiopia and inner-city London, and has been a guest lecturer at Howard University, the University of the West Indies (Mona Campus) and the University of Addis Ababa.
